Ep Recording June - Day 3 Guitars

Lancelot here. Just nailed guitar on two tracks. One to go, then later on acoustic guitar on four tracks.
Last night we had a big barbeque party, very cozy feeling until some hours later.
I suddenly felt an aching pain in my stomach. I got so damn ill and puked like a cat.

No no no goodeooo....

Today I felt better and the recording sessions has gone very well so far, but the night is young.
Anything can happen out here in the woods, that is James Woods to you =)

Ep recording June 2009 - Day 2 - Drums/Bas

Hi again! 

The second day of recording went really really good. Gustav nailed the last drumtracks, and it sounds amazing!!

We went to the small town of Åmål and bought ourselves some food. The sun was shining on us as we lit a barbeque. The inspiration out here is not of this world. Everyone of us is feeling on top of the world. 

Now it was time for me to record the bass. We plugged in the sansamp and got started. 

After a few hours i was done with three songs. Now its time for me to record the last song. After the bass is finished it´s time for Linus guitars. But first.. some coffee! (We had a long night talking about different conspiracy theories. :)

Ep recording June 2009 - Day 2

Goodmorning! 

Linus here, writing to you from the forest. 

Yesterday went very very well. Gustav totally delivered the candy goods on his drums.

We did two songs on drums. Today we continue the drumrecording on two more songs.

And later on Ola will start with the bassguitar as well.

The weather is fantastic and the feeling out here is wonderful.

Last night we stod outside and just listened to nothing, the silence was completely golden.

Ep recording June 2009 - Day 1 - Drums

Dearest friends.

This is the first chapter of the session that we're about to share with you. We're in the deep woods in the middle of Sweden, Åmål. The house that we're recording in is an old school from the early 20th century. It's built next to a lake surrounded by a beautiful green sceenery. The creativity is total. And our soundtechnician Erik is absolutely the best.

Our first day here started off with me (Gustav) putting the rythm to the new sounds of Shiloh. We're very excited to see how it all will develope, as time goes on. Tomorrow is a brand new day.

Ep recording June 2009 - Day 1

Hello dear eartlings!

We are writing from the studio. Today we start a new recording and we are so thrilled!!

We will record a couple of songs for an upcoming Ep to be released

in the end of the summer.

We are outside of the small town of Åmål, Sweden in the middle of the woods, by a beautiful lake.

We will record here for a whole week.

Everyday we will put up pictures, videoclips & text here.

sweet, idag har vi mixat mera. det börjar ta sig nu asså.

låter riktigt spännande...

idag körde vi mega power arbete med tre datorer igång, fördelade arbetet finfint likt

små tomtenissar.

jag har dock fått problem med min nya kamera, datorn vill inte ta emot bilderna ifrån den.

ingen som har en ny canon och vet hur man ska lösa detta?

får väl trixa lite..

snart helg, arbetet fortsätter varje dag..
